During the Epic Game Showcase today, a new Lord of the Rings game was introduced, taking players back to Khazad-dum.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is a crafting survival game set in the Dwarrowdelf, one of Tolkien's most famous settings

With the success of Valheim and, most recently, V Rising, survival games seem to be all the rage again

so it's only natural that a Middle-earth Enterprises-licensed Lord of the Rings variant would emerge at some time.

Return to Moria casts players in the role of Durin's people, tasked with restoring the Dwarven palaces to their former glory following the Second Age's fall to the Balrog.

Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, which will be released on the Epic Game Store in Spring 2023

will allow up to eight players to restore the glory of the Mithril mine by building, crafting, and surviving the halls of Khazad-dum.
