Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson flies right into the action in the first trailer for DC's latest blockbuster picture, "Black Adam."

The Hollywood great and renowned wrestler stars as the film's antihero, a character who is both morally ambiguous and blessed with godlike powers, in the two-minute video, which released on Wednesday.

The trailer shows a 5,000-year-old fighter who has superhuman strength and can fly. In the DCEU trailer, Black Adam punches a plane and holds an exploding rocket.

As Dr. Fate, played by Pierce Brosnan, explains in a voiceover, the moral dilemma that Black Adam will face is introduced in the video

"There are two possibilities available to you. You have the option of being either the world's destroyer or its savior."

Black Adam's past is revealed in the teaser, showing that he was once a slave who has escaped from a tomb where he has been imprisoned for 5,000 years.

In addition to Johnson as Black Adam, viewers get a first look at other characters in the film, including Aldis Hodge's Hawkman, Noah Centineo's Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell's Cyclone.

Johnson took to Instagram on Tuesday to thank fans for their support as he prepares to make his debut as the DC figure who is Shazam's enemy in the DC Extended Universe, played by Zachary Levi.
