Billy Kametz Dies Anime Voice Actor Was 35

The voice acting industry has some extremely terrible news to report today. Billy Kametz, 35, died after a fight with stage four colon cancer at the age of 35.

Within the anime and video gaming industries, Kametz was well-known. Fans of Nintendo games will recognize him as Ferdinand Von Aegir from Fire Emblem:

Three Houses and Fire Emblem Heroes, as well as Blue from Pokémon Masters.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Rui), Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster (Raidou Kuzunoha),

Triangle Strategy (Jerrom), and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim were among the games in which he voiced characters (Nenji Ogata).

He's also done voice work for Attack on Titan, Boruto, Demon Slayer, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Josuke Higashkata),

Pokémon Journeys (Ren), and Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shigeru Aoba).
