It’s about you. You know that. We’ve never been together but that means a lot to me because I have loved you that way.
You have always been far away from me because I like to fight the odds and come near you.
Now, I don’t remember if I ever saw you. You might have seen me and this might be true for the rest of the world.
I’ve come so far now, deep down I’ve found a place to rest forever now. I do not strive to find a way out of the trap, for that, I’ve myself become the trap.
If I’ll be eaten up by someone, that’d be me.
When it all began I just wanted it all to go this way.
For then, I did not want to stand and watch myself fall in love with you, rather I wanted to eye witness the feeling of losing myself in the path of serving others.
And so, over time, I’ve become an extremist.
Your love has made me selfless.
Your love has made me fearless.
This goes without saying that:
I am not afraid to close my eyes.
no matter how far
you and I together are,
no matter how hard
it is to fight for and stand,
no matter how many times
I have to lose to win you once,
no matter how many doors I have to close
to find one that opens on its own,
I am not afraid to close my eyes
even in the darkest of the hours.
for then, at least I ended up trying,
I ended up fighting, I ended up loving,
I ended up feeling, I ended up crying, smiling,
and after that
I will still have a chance to be loving you
to the extreme of the extremes,
the madness of the madnesses,
addiction of the addictions,
and remember when I close my eyes
it will mean that I’m dead in person,
but I’m always happily alive in my own heart.
